Dry Membrane Unidirectional Drawing Process

Dry Membrane Unidirectional Drawing Process

The membrane unidirectional drawing process is a commonly used process for preparing thin film materials. By stretching under dry conditions, the film material is stretched in one direction, thereby changing its physical properties and structural characteristics. This paper will focus on the principle, procedure and application of dry membrane unidirectional drawing process.

Ⅰ.Overview of the Principle

Dry membrane unidirectional drawing process is to use the stretchability of polymer materials under dry conditions, through the process steps such as stretching, stretching and shaping, so that the polymer material is stretched in a certain direction, so as to change its physical properties and structural characteristics. This process is widely used in the preparation and modification of thin film materials.

 Ⅱ.Process Steps

The dry membrane unidirectional drawing process includes the steps of raw material preparation, pretreatment, stretching, curing and post-treatment.

1. Preparation of raw materials: Select the appropriate polymer material, add the appropriate additives as needed, and prepare it into sheet or granular form.

2. Pretreatment: pretreatment of raw materials, including removal of impurities, control of moisture content, etc., to ensure the quality and stability of raw materials

3. Stretching: The pre-treated raw materials are placed on the stretching machine, and the parameters such as drawing speed and temperature are controlled for one-way stretching. During the stretching process, the chain segments of the polymer material are straightened so that the material is stretched in a certain direction.

4. Curing: the polymer material after stretching needs to be cured to maintain its structure and properties after stretching. The curing method can be heat curing, light curing and so on.

5. Post-treatment: the film material after stretching and curing needs to be post-treated, such as cutting, surface treatment, testing, etc., to meet the specific application needs.
